About Women in Homeland Security
WHS is a non-profit, non-partisan volunteer organization started in 2009. The group has grown to over 3500 public and private sector members. Their mission is to build the Homeland Security community through educational and social events that bring the disciplines together. WHS also does significant charity work to benefit the Homeland Security community and supports a rigorous STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) program for kids.
