NEOSTEK, Inc. recently won a new prime contract with the Library of Congress to facilitate the indexing of millions of scanned cards from their card catalogs. This massive conversion effort will include using technologies like Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to convert the captured card images into digital text data. The goal is to make the card catalogs digitally searchable.
