NEOSTEK Works with Department of State to Make Content Accessible

Posted on

NEOSTEK, Inc. is working with the U.S. Department of State to improve the accessibility of information in compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Our current project includes pamphlets and eBooks that communicate general information for a global audience such as how the U.S. Government works, being an international student in the U.S., and major national holidays and historical events.

Accessibility and usability are important to ensure that the widest possible audience can access the same information in a clear and usable way. Accessible information systems and assistive technologies work to eliminate barriers for people with disabilities. Accessibility and usability make information systems better for everyone. NEOSTEK consultants are experts in usability and accessibility.
